The base fare covers the private van and the first guest, and each additional guest is added at a per-person rate, so the cost per head falls as the group grows. Amounts are shown on this page before you commit.

The paddle boats seat two to three guests each, so a larger group cruises as a small convoy of boats rather than one big one. Each boat goes out with a trained local guide and life vests.

Pickup between 5:30 and 6:00 PM, adjustable to suit your group, a set-menu dinner at the riverside restaurant from 6:30 to 7:30 PM, the Iwahig cruise from about 7:30 to 8:45 PM, and back at your hotel by around 9:30 PM — a 4-hour evening.

No — activity varies with weather and moon phase, and the best nights are dark and dry. When conditions cooperate, the mangroves blink in sync and plankton lights up under the paddle; a bright moon or heavy cloud flattens the show.

Flash photography and bright lights, including phone screens once you are under the mangroves. It is a watching activity rather than a photographing one, which is most of why it works.

It runs rain or shine, but may be cancelled for safety during heavy storms. With a private booking the pickup time can shift within the evening if the weather looks like clearing.

Full payment is taken at booking. Cancellations up to 7 days before the tour date are refunded in full; inside 7 days a 50% cancellation fee applies, and no-shows or cancellations within 24 hours are not refunded.
