Are photos and videos of my jump included?

Yes — your jump includes 4K handcam photos and video taken by your instructor (Skydive Palawan's Island Selfie package). Optional upgrades are available at the dropzone, like immersive Insta360 360° video (PHP 3,700) or an outside camera flyer. Personal cameras such as GoPros or phones are not allowed on tandem jumps, per USPA safety rules.

Which Skydive Palawan package is included, and can I upgrade?

The bundled jump is Skydive Palawan's Island Selfie package (₱29,970 value) — a tandem skydive from 10,000 ft with 4K handcam photos and video by your instructor. Upgrades are available on request: Island Buddies puts two jumpers on the same flight for ₱54,940 total (₱5,000 off two Island Selfies, beach landing included) and Island Paparazzi (₱44,100) adds a professional camera flyer filming you from outside, also with beach landing included. Tell us at booking or arrange the difference at the dropzone.

Do I need experience to skydive?

No. This is a tandem jump — you are securely harnessed to a USPA-certified instructor who handles everything from exit to landing. A short ground briefing before the jump is all the preparation you need.

Are there weight or age restrictions?

Accepted Answer

The maximum jumper weight is 115 kg (253 lbs). Jumpers weighing 91–115 kg pay an additional PHP 3,000 overweight fee, in cash at the dropzone after weigh-in. There is no minimum age as long as you are in good health and fit securely in the harness; minors need a parent's or guardian's consent.

What happens if the weather is bad?

Skydiving is weather-dependent. If your jump is cancelled by the operator due to weather or a technical issue, you can reschedule for another day free of charge or receive a full refund.

Can I land on the beach?

Skydive Palawan is one of the few dropzones in the world that can offer landings right on Long Beach. Beach landings depend on your package, the weather and tide conditions, and are at the dropzone's discretion — with the included Island Selfie package they can be offered when two jumpers share the same flight.

How far in advance should I book?

Accepted Answer

Book at least 48 hours ahead so we can confirm your jump slot and transport — slots are limited, especially in the December–May high season. If your plans change, you can reschedule your jump or transfer your booking to another person at no additional cost.

Is skydiving safe?

Tandem skydiving is a safe activity when conducted by licensed professionals. Skydive Palawan uses USPA-certified tandem instructors, modern equipment and strict safety protocols, and every jump starts with a full ground briefing.

What should I wear and bring?

Comfortable clothes and closed shoes are best. Bring a valid ID for verification at the dropzone. Loose items like sunglasses, hats and phones stay on the ground — your instructor's handcam covers the footage, and personal cameras are not allowed on the jump.

When do I get my photos and videos?

Your 4K handcam photos and video are edited right at the dropzone — most jumpers have their footage within minutes of landing, before the ride home.

Can friends or family come along to watch?

Spectators are welcome at the dropzone, and San Vicente's Long Beach is right there for them to enjoy while you jump. On private packages, non-jumping companions ride along at no extra cost.

Yes — Skydive Palawan operates year-round. Individual jumps remain weather-dependent on the day, and if the operator cancels you can rebook free of charge or get a full refund.
