Puerto Princesa to El Nido with Underground River Tour

Pickup from your Puerto Princesa hotel from 6:00 AM, the national park at around 8:30 AM for the guided boat tour of the Underground River, lunch at a local restaurant at 11:30 AM, then the drive north with a rest stop late afternoon, arriving at El Nido Bus Terminal around 6:30 PM. One booking replaces a travel day and a day tour.

It stays in the van with your driver. You carry only what you want on the boat hops — a dry bag for phones and cameras is the one useful item — and the bags are waiting when you come back out of the cave.

Yes. Entry runs on dated, named permits under a strict daily cap, and this booking blocks one for each guest. Bring the ID whose name is on the booking; it is checked against the park manifest. Because permits pin the date, book this combo as early as anything in your trip.

It is a private booking: the base fare covers the van, the tour and two guests, and each additional guest is added at a per-person rate. No one else joins your vehicle.

El Nido Bus Terminal and hotels in the Corong-Corong area are the standard drop-offs. El Nido town centre, Lio, Nacpan, Duli and the Sibaltan and San Fernando areas are available with a supplement — choose your point at booking, not on the day.

Around 6:30 PM on the 6:00 AM pickup, per the listing’s itinerary. Later slots run to 10:30 AM and push the arrival back accordingly, so take an early one if you want to check in and eat before dark.

Children under 8 are not recommended on the Underground River tour, and this is a long day in the van on top of the cave. The river itself is undemanding — boardwalk and short paths, with the paddling done for you.

Full payment is taken at booking. Cancellations more than 7 days before the tour date are refunded in full less a 10% processing fee; inside 7 days the booking is non-refundable. If poor weather cancels the day — rough surf at the park landing can suspend visits — you are offered an alternative date or a full refund.
